Journalism door open to minorities

Wayne State\'s Journalism Institute for Minorities (JIM) was established to address the need for more professional journalists of color. The program offers scholarships to minorities, mentoring and internships. \"Many internships in the field of mass communications do not pay,\" said Alicia Nails, JIM\'s interim director.
